Love Lacrosse. Live Lacrosse. GO FLAMES!

Flames Lacrosse

College recruiting is an important facet of the Fayetteville Flames program. There are over 420 colleges and universities supporting varsity women’s lacrosse and the number grows by leaps and bounds each year. This explosion of women’s programs has led to new opportunities for girls to take advantage of all that college athletics has to offer.

Fayetteville Flames are committed to educating, preparing and supporting our athletes and families through the recruiting process. We are continuing to build relationships with college programs both locally and beyond our state and we provide our players with opportunities to play in showcase tournaments designed to allow the student athlete to play against top level competition from all over the country in front of hundreds of college coaches and recruiters.

In addition our coaches provide one-on-one support to athletes and their parents to help facilitate connections with college programs.

Fayetteville Flames players who are interested in discussing the college recruiting process should contact Wes Davis, or talk directly with their Flames coach.

Here are some resources to review as you start to navigate the process:

Parent involvement is critical to the successful choice of a college or university, especially when the student is an athlete. Fayetteville Flames coaches and staff will work with the student and the parents to understand and navigate the recruiting process. Our hope is for a successful match between player and school that will result in a happy and successful student!

Please set up a meeting with our director, Wes Davis, or with your player's coach to discuss the recruiting process and how best to get started.
